Delta Business Solutions’ dedication to the communities it serves is an integral part of the way we manage our business. The City of Miramar and Delta Business Solutions partnered for a Race Unity Day on May 22nd, 2004 at the Sunset Lakes Community Center promoting racial harmony and understanding. The day began with a Race Unity Fun Walk at 8:00 a.m. From 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. was a Free Cultural Entertainment consisting of various entertainers from different cultures (singings, poetry, dancing and more). Performances included Native American, Jamaican, Latin America, Haitian, Middle Eastern, Africa, Europe and the Far East. Cyrus Jiveh, founder of Delta Business Solutions and his wife Parisa Payman organized the event as a celebration of the different nationalities and to encourage fellowship among all groups. “This is a great event for everyone in the community to participate and learn about other Cultures within their neighborhood,” said Jiveh, President of Delta Business Solutions. There was a student essay and art work contest based on the following topics, which the winning essay was displayed in the Sun-Sentinel newspaper. Happiness Lies in Unity and Harmony The earth is One Country and Mankind Its Citizens So Powerful Is The Light of Unity That It Can Illumine The Earth Delta is working on other charitable initiatives to help build strong communities.
